    Operate both CNC and Manual Prefabrication related Equipment

    This is not a supervisory position.
     

    Operate all prefab equipment; including but not limited to: drills (various types), plate rolls, water jet, plasma table, grinders, saws, press brake, etc.

    • Main CNC Drilling Machine is a Quick Mill Intimidator
    • Fanuc 31i CNC operating System
    • CAT50 Spindle Nose
    • Y, X & Z Axis Travel 
    • Fanuc Control experience needed (read, write & edit Fanuc programs)
    • Working 40 to 50 hours a week at our Prefab Shop 1 location permanently with a 90 day review. 
    • Experience similar or same type of equipment for Industrial pre-fab of Steel Plates, Tubes, Beams, Blades, etc. preferred

    MUST have resume or some sort of work history summary to even be considered. Hourly pay depending on experience but excellent competive wages.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


    Operate all prefab equipment; including but not limited to: drills (various types), plate rolls, water jet,
    plasma table, grinders, saws, press brake, etc.

    • Training: includes being both the trainer & trainee.  This is not a supervisory position.
    • Unloading trucks alone and with others; both by hand and/or with multiple styles/sizes of forklifts and
      overhead cranes. Unloading will be from (but not limited) flat beds, box vans, and parcel trucks.
    • Inspect items for damage, correct sizes, shapes, and dimensions. Document (paper & electronic) that
      items are either correct or if incorrect, contact the proper suppliers and rectify the problem.
    • Label and move items to proper locations (job areas, inventory, hold areas, etc.).
    • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, & annual maintenance on equipment.
    • Troubleshoot equipment to keep running.
    • Address inventory discrepancies and resolve with management; this is mainly related to equipment
      consumables.
    • Use best judgement / practices of handling and storage of items.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
    • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness on a consistent basis; reliable transportation is a must.
    • Conduct business and interactions with a positive attitude that projects the highest level of
      professionalism.

    • Ability to read, write and edit CNC equipment with Fanuc programing
    • Basic understanding of tool selection based on materials: carbon, stainless, duplex and hi nickel alloys
    • Ability to read & write to a level of understanding and process paperwork as required for this position.
    • Ability to interpret drawings, work orders, & requisitions to properly check items.
    • Ability to understand basic math formulas related to the assigned tasks.
    • Ability to precisely measure components using a variety of measuring devices
    • Must have own tools


    Education and/or Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
